Abstract

20매의 디지탈치근단방사선사진상을 대상으로 화소복사법, 선형보간법 그리고 경계강조
보간법을 이용하여 영상확대를 시행한 후 이를 PSNR로 평가하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었
다.
1. 화소복사법은 격자 블록효과가 나타나 상의 왜곡이 심하였다.
2. 선형보간법은 경계부위에 smoothing효과가 나타났다.
3. 경계강조 보간법은 경계부위가 smoothing되는 단점을 극복하였으며 치아 및 치조골 경
계부위의 영상이 개선되는 결과를 보였다.

The purpose of this study was to aid in the use of the digital images by edge-detect
interpolation for direct digital periapical images using edge-detect interpolation.
This study was performed by image processing of 20 digital periapical images: pixel
replication, linear non-interpolation. linear interpolation, and edge-sensitive interpolation.
The obtained results were as follows :
1. Pixel replication showed blocking artifact and serious image distortion.
2. Linear interpolation showed smoothing effect on the edge.
3. Edge-sensitive interpolation overcame the smoothing effect on the edge and showed
better image.
